The big surprise from Truvox International on its Interclean stand was kept quiet until the opening day, when a new compact scrubber dryer powered by a minimum-maintenance rechargeable 24V Gel battery was unveiled.A handsomely designed scrubber dryer for small or middle sized areas, especially where there are tricky corners to negotiate, the Orbis Battery Scrubber is suitable for small shops, healthcare premises, schools and leisure centres. It will be particularly useful to contract cleaners because it frees them from the need to gain access to power points to be able to do their work.

The new machine has a 17L solution tank at the front, with adjustable solution flow, and a removable and easily emptied 22L dirty water tank behind.The handle folds down for easy storage.Truvox plans to launch a pure lead battery version of the Orbis Battery Scrubber later in the year.
