Innovation award winner

The Full Cycle pads came top for 'Sustainable Cleaning' because the Full Cycle principle provides a valuable solution in reducing the waste stream from the cleaning industry.

Neil Nixon, judge at Cleaning Show 2015 Innovation Awards, said: "The award went to the Full Cycle Wecoline Pads by Americo because the manufacturer had taken a product that already had good environmental credentials and improved it still further. The ‘full cycle’ approach to waste reduction is to be applauded, and solves a major disposal issue for the cleaning industry."

Wecovi's Derik Landman added: "The Full Cycle pads were already 'green' because of the 100% recycled fibre from PET bottles and water-based resins. However, by the addition of an innovative formula, the floor pads are now after use also accelerated biodegradable."

In November 2014 Americo, which produces the basic material of the Full Cycle Wecoline pads, won two Innovation Awards for sustainability during ISSA / INTERCLEAN North America.
