Hygienic hands all-year round
06 October 2014
The warmer weather brings different challenges for hospitals, but the focus on rigorous hand hygiene procedures should remain in place at all times to prevent infection outbreaks.

TEAL managing director Manty Stanley says that "infections such as C-Difficile and MRSA are present all the year round and the warm weather is an ideal breeding ground for such infections.
"Investing in hand wash units will enable everyone – staff, patients and visitors – to take responsibility for playing their part in preventing the spread of infection."
Portable hand wash station the TEAL Stop n’Wash educates and encourages the correct hand washing procedures. A synchronised display takes users through the automatic program and seven rubbing actions as laid down by NHS guidelines.
Hands free and fully automatic, the device has no levers or taps to re-infect hands. It is also pathogen-safe – a simple hygiene cycle using 500ppm chlorine solution is carried out every 24 hours.
