The BIOSWEEP 900 system deals with virus, bacteria and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) problems and is now being launched in Britain by BioSweep UK.

"As the UK master dealer and licensee for BioSweep,we're working closely with Phocatox Technologies,a U.S.

manufacturer of highperformance air and surface decontamination equipment for IAQ remediation,"says Roark McMaster, managing director of BioSweep.

BIOSWEEP tackles challenges such as fungi,Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Clostridium difficile (C.diff). It can also destroy unpleasant smells from odour sources such as cigarette smoke, fire smoke, mould and mildew."BIOSWEEP contains a five-stage process that uses a highly advanced form of photocatalytic oxidation," says Roark McMaster,"and the entire process is generated internally in one portable unit." BIOSWEEP has a range of applications, especially in emergency situations such as disaster response, infection control, biohazard remediation or fire and water restoration. It can also tackle mould mediation, contents restoration and commercial cleaning, as well as air duct cleaning and general odour removal.
