'Cheesegrater' contract

20 June 2014

Award-winning London cleaning firm JPC has won the contract to clean one of the capital’s most iconic buildings.

The Leadenhall Building, known to millions in the city as the ‘Cheesegrater’, is the latest win for the family firm which already cleans some of London’s highest profile workplaces, including The Ritz, CBS News, Regent’s Place, Paddington Basin and Paternoster Square.

Founded by managing director John Conry in 1987, JPC employs more than 250 people and runs commercial cleaning contracts across London and the South East.

Operations director John Conry Jnr said this latest win is testament to the company’s innovative methods and growing profile. "We are growing all the time but we haven’t forgotten our roots which lie in service delivery and ensuring the customer gets what they want each and every time," he said.

"The Cheesegrater is a truly iconic building and a prestigious addition to our client list. At 225 metres tall, it literally is a case of onwards and upwards for JPC."

JPC’s team will be responsible for all the communal areas including front of house, corridors, toilets, reception, galleria and plaza. JPC’s armoury includes a fully integrated real time quality management system, chemical-free cleaning technology and a passport to success scheme – which includes training and development opportunities for their workforce.
