The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) is helping members of the Manufacturing Standards Association reap the rewards of membership. It has created a marketing toolkit and is making it available to all members.
'More and more customers are stipulating membership of our Manufacturing Accreditation Schemes in their tenders, aware that this means they will get what they are paying for,' explains Graham Fletcher, secretary of the CHSA. 'The marketing toolkit will help our members shout about their commitment to the schemes.' The marketing tool kit comprises branded pop-up displays that are suitable for using at shows, exhibitions and meetings. Under the campaign title 'Beat the Cheats', a DVD and leaflet have been produced and both are freely available as part of the marketing toolkit to all members for distribution to prospects.
By opting for companies that are members of the CHSA's Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Scheme, organisations are protecting themselves from 'sharks', says the CHSA. It believes that the scale of abuse among non-members is escalating as the economic constraints continue. Shaving a little off the width or length of tissue products, or importing illegally labelled mops is relatively common amongst unscrupulous organisations, says the association.
The CHSA Manufacturing Standards Accreditation stamp protects customers. By opting for a member firm they know they are getting exactly what they are paying for - a properly labelled product of the right dimensions.
The Manufacturing Accreditation Schemes guarantee: • Consistency of supply: customers receive what they order • Accurate labelling: customers get what they pay for • Fully audited manufacturers: our standard, your guarantee.
