Meet mould guru

The National Flood School has secured the services of acclaimed Californian-based restoration professional Patrick J Moffett for the IICRC's Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Course (AMRT). Moffett, an internationally-renowned environmental and industrial hygienist specialising in water and fire restoration, will be sharing his experience on the four day course, 10 - 13 July, at the school's headquarters in Farnham.

The course will equip students with the skills and knowledge to undertake mould remediation - expanding their professional capacity as a restorer - with a lectures, demonstrations and practicals all delivering a relevant and realistic experience.
"The subject of mould is becoming more important to the restorer, with water damage claims often providing suitable conditions for mould growth," says Chris Netherton, MD of the National Flood School.
The course fee is £795 plus VAT per person. Due to the hands-on nature of the training, places are limited.
