Initial has announced the launch of its UltraProtect range following a four year-long development process by partners Byotrol.The range is for use in commercial and public areas. It includes a new hand gel, foam hand sanitiser and handy packs of hand and surface wipes, offering employees a safe and convenient way to kill bacteria and other germs for longer.

Exclusive to Initial, the UltraProtect range protects hands for up to six hours and surfaces for up to 24 hours between applications, unlike alcohol-based solutions, and kills a wide range of bacteria and viruses including swine flu (H1N1), MRSA, Salmonella, Norovirus and E. coli.
The UltraProtect launch follows recent warnings by the Global Handwashing Day Coalition, (that includes Initial Washroom Hygiene), on poor hand hygiene levels in the UK.
