Come hell or deep snow

Last winter when the snow was building into 20'drifts,Jangro Member,MacGregor Industrial Supplies of Inverness, received a call for a new carpet steam cleaner from the highest restaurant in the country,the Ptarmigan Restaurant.

The only slight problem was that all normal access routes were inaccessible.Hamish Stuart, MacGregor's hygiene and catering division manager accepted the order and disregarded the blizzard.

Hamish persuaded the ski-cart operator to take him and the new machine for the last two miles almost vertically to the top,on a vehicle used to prepare the piste for skiers in less harsh conditions.

Travel was slow and extremely hazardous,but Hamish completed the delivery,which took ten times the normal journey time. It is rumoured that Douggie Sumerville, the grateful catering manager enjoyed a dram with him to prepare for the down hill return trip.
