BICSc Awards 2010: And the winners are...

The British Institute of Cleaning Science's (BICSc) annual awards event held at the Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club was heralded a success with a large attendance from all sectors of the cleaning industry.

The Award Winners 2010
The BICSc Award in Excellence in Training and Assessment within a Prison, sponsor:Miele Professional
• Winners: HMP Dumfries
• Runners Up: HMP Acklington
The Alan Edwards Memorial Award for Excellence in Training and Assessment within an Accredited Training Organisation, sponsor: Rubbermaid Commercial Products. This award is for training developments within an Accredited Training Organisation through BICSc qualifications.
• Winners:Eurest Services Aberdeen
• Runners Up:Gateshead Council - Catering and Cleaning
The BICSc Award in Excellence in Training and Assessment within an Accredited Training Provider, sponsor:Asset Skills. This award is for training developments within an Accredited Training Provider through BICSc qualifications.
• Winners: Cleanwise Training and Management
• Runners Up: Premiere Products
The BICSc Award for the Outstanding Student of the Year, sponsor: TimeAttend. This award was given following external nominations.The winner
was nominated by BICSc Midlands Region in association with Birmingham Metropolitan College.
• Winner:Michael Bird
Doreen Heyes Award for HPCC Provision within NHS Trusts. This award is based on the uptake and promotion of the scheme.
• Winners:Doncaster Primary Care Trust
BICSc Worldwide Award for Outstanding Performance in Promotion of the Institute.
• Winner:Musanada (Abu Dhabi).
Eric Hill Medal for Past Service to the Institute, sponsor:The Hill family
• Winner:Gill Hallsworth
Sholom Gordon Award for Outstanding Service to the Institute and the Industry.
• Winner: Richard Beamish
Next year BICSc will be celebrating its Golden Anniversary Awards Dinner.This will be held on September 22nd 2011.
