New freeman Bear for mayor?

Alderman Michael David Bear, BSc (Eng),MBA, Alderman of the Ward of Portsoken and a former Sheriff of the City of London, was installed on 25th February as the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners' newest Honorary Freeman.

newest Honorary Freeman.
Alderman Bear is expected to serve as the Lord Mayor of London for 2011 and will be the fifth Lord Mayor to be honoured by The Company in its 24 year history.
On behalf of the City of London he has helped a numbe of UK and overseas companies relocate and expand their businesses in the City and the City fringe. He has held senior positions in property and construction industries.
