Tork unveils Tork Xperience interactive installation

11 March 2026

TORK WILL be taking visitors on an interactive journey at this year’s Interclean exhibition.

Tork Xperience will tell the Tork brand story through a virtual interface delivered via a transparent OLED touch screen.

Claimed to be a first-of-its-kind application in the hygiene industry, Tork Xperience uses animated motion graphics and 3D visuals to create an eye-catching display.

The interactive journey provides actionable insights into cleaning efficiency improvements and looks at ways of making washrooms more sustainable. It also highlights the hidden opportunities for inclusive hygiene.

Tork is spearheading a global initiative to make public spaces more welcoming, equitable and functional for everyone while also improving business performance in those venues. The aim is to remove barriers and ensure that publicly-used washrooms meet the hygiene needs of as many people as possible.

The Tork Hygiene for All programme has been nominated for an Amsterdam Innovation Award in the “Sustainability & Environment” category. The initiative is intended to raise awareness and advocate for inclusive hygiene in public washrooms to address the daily hygiene needs of as many users as possible

Products and systems on display on the Tork stand will include the new TorkPeakServe Automatic Dispenser, described as being the highest capacity paper towel dispenser on the market. The dispenser, which incorporates long-lasting batteries, delivers each towel in less than a second.

The unit may be topped up at any time to avoid run-outs and a refill indicator and viewing window allow facilities staff to tell at a glance when the unit needs refilling.

Tork PaperCircle - the world’s first paper hand towel recycling service - will be another highlight of the stand. Customers signing up for Tork PaperCircle have their used washroom hand towels picked up from their business premises and taken to local recycling centres where they are turned into other tissue products. The service supports circularity and reduces environmental impact.

Also featured on the stand will be Tork Focus4 Sustainability. This platform provides the holistic information, tools and training needed to allow customers to meet their sustainability goals. Tork Focus4 Sustainability promotes transparency and provides a comprehensive summary of the key sustainability benefits of selected Tork systems.

According to the 2025 Tork Insight Survey, 74 per cent of people expect moderate or high levels of hygiene in a washroom - yet only 20 per cent of washrooms deliver on these expectations. Meanwhile, 54 per cent of people claim to experience some form of difficulty when using a public washroom.

Individual conditions and circumstances can make a washroom difficult or uncomfortable to use, according to the Tork study. People who use catheters or ostomy bags, have low hand strength or who suffer from a skin condition may face problems while temporary factors such as a broken arm, a leg in plaster or a heavy suitcase can also make standard facilities harder to navigate.

Tork has issued a washroom guide aimed at helping providers to ensure their facilities meet the needs of as many people as possible. The new guidance aims to help businesses transform their washrooms into assets that enhance user satisfaction and benefit business performance.

Tork at Interclean will be hosting a session entitled: Inclusive Hygiene in public washrooms: Creating better user experiences that improve business performance. This will take place at 1500 on Tuesday, April 14 on the Sustainability Stage. The company will also be hosting a session on: Smart washrooms made simple with Tork at 1300 on Wednesday, April 15 on the Data and Technology Stage.
