Finalists announced for Golden Service Awards

14 February 2022

FINALISTS HAVE been announced for the 2022 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards recognising excellence, performance and commitment through unprecedented times in the cleaning and FM industry.

The announcement follows the first stage of judging carried out independently by The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc). The judges have announced that this year’s entries had a good proactive approach to environmental awareness alongside a focus on attention to Covid issues. There was a clear increase in respect for staff wellbeing with the living wage a prominent theme. Overall, the 2022 Golden Service Awards entrants showed more care and development of cleaning teams with a strong emphasis on future efficiencies.

The finalist companies are:

ABM; Andron Facilities Management; Apleona HSG; Birkin Cleaning Services; Cleanology; Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists; Ecoserv Group; Exclusive Contract Services; Fairview Facilities Management; Julius Rutherfoord & Co; Key Enviro Solutions; Maxim Facilities Management; Mitie; Momentum Support; Mount Charles; NuServe; Nviro; OCS; Principle Cleaning Services; Serna FM; Sodexo; Thames Cleaning & Support Services; The Churchill Group; VINCI Facilities.

The finalists will now go through to the next stage of judging which for most categories includes a site visit by a BICScjudge. The site visits will take place during January/February, with the judging panel looking for innovation, staff training, and client relationships as the main criteria for assessment.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 26 May 2022 at the InterContinental London Park Lane at 12.15pm to 4pm. Over 500 guests including finalists and sponsors, and the leading names in the UK’s cleaning and FM industry are expected to come together to celebrate its stars and their achievements during the most challenging time in our industry.

Steve Jones, general manager UK & Ireland, Kimberly-Clark Professional said: “Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit an entry to demonstrate their achievements and successes. Every year the awards become harder to judge due to the high standard of the entries. Everyone who took part should be congratulated on their amazing work on the front line during the pandemic. We look forward to seeing all the finalists along with our industry peers to honour their success at the awards ceremony. We wish all the finalists of the 2022 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards the very best of luck!”
