Makita cleans up with new cordless vacuum

According to Makita this powerful new solution provides a genuine cordless alternative for commercial carpet and hard-floor vacuuming. 

Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT battery system, the new cordless DVC560Z Upright Vacuum Cleaner provides a max sealed suction of 12kPa and minimum of 60 minutes of continuous runtime on the standard suction setting when utilising 2x 6.0Ah batteries. Powered by two 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries that deliver power to a 36V brushless motor, this robust, powerful and portable solution eliminates the need for extension cords or trailing cables, providing operators with the freedom to cover large areas without compromising on performance.

For effective vacuuming over a range of surfaces, the cleaner features a four-stage, manually adjustable power brush head, so that users can set the brush to the ideal height for the application. The solution also benefits from a three-stage speed control that can be used to adjust both brush rotation speed and suction level, to achieve the optimum runtime and performance needed to tackle any standard cleaning application. 

With a large 5L dust collecting capacity for more heavy-duty applications, this powerful vacuum offers a 90O tilt range for use at any angle and under furniture and includes a HEPA filter that, combined with the filter bag, captures large, small and micro dust particles at 99.97% filtration.

For further cleaning flexibility, the vacuum has a built-in work light, battery recharge indicator light, dust capacity warning light and includes a crevice nozzle and round brush both easily accessible and secured on the vacuum, as well as a removable hand wand and flexible hose for cleaning in hard to reach areas.
