Wessel∙Werk wins German Brand Award 2020

Wessel∙Werk was awarded the German Brand Award by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute Foundation in the 'Excellent Brands – Consumer Electronics' category for the successful brand management of its aftermarket product line.
A top-class jury made up of experts from companies, business, consulting, agencies and services named the North Rhine- Westphalian manufacturer of vacuum cleaner nozzles and accessories a winner in the “Excellent Brands – Consumer Electronics” category and paid tribute to the outstanding brand management, as well as the consistent implementation of the brand strategy of its aftermarket product line. In addition to independence and brand characteristics, design quality and brand appearance, the degree of innovation and economic success were assessed.
Initiated by the German Design Council, awarded by the Foundation of the German Brand Institute and judged by a top-class panel of experts from brand management and science, the German Brand Award has been presented since 2016 annually to companies and products in order to present and honor their outstanding brand management.
The competition is tough: The jury has seen 1200 submissions from 14 countries, evaluated and awarded the best among them.
"For us, the award is a new milestone in the brand's history and at the same time evidence and confirmation of the effectiveness of our brand strategy," said Wolfgang Geurden, head of marketing and sales with Wessel∙Werk.
The manufacturer launched its aftermarket line a few years ago to build a high-quality range of vacuum cleaner nozzles for the B2C sector and to create brand awareness among end consumers. The range is divided into different themed worlds and ranges from products for animal care and animal hair removal via suction-mopping combinations and special hard floor and carpet nozzles to nozzles for car care.
Wessel∙Werk was honored with the German Brand Award 2020 for the successful brand management of its aftermarket range.
