BICSc Northern Ireland 'Cleaning Operative of the Year' Awards

The BICSc Northern Ireland Region 'Cleaning Operative of the Year' Awards were held in the Belfast City Hall, on Monday 12th September 2016.
The City of Belfast Lord Mayor Alderman Brian Kingston opened the ceremony in the company of the National Chair of BICSc Denise Hanson, Regional Chair Colm McGrath & CEO Stan Atkins. Entries were received from both public and private cleaning organisations from across the province.
The sponsors, Zenith Hygiene, Consumable Products, Carey Floorcare, Kimberly-Clark, Bunzl and BICSC N.I. had the difficult task of judging the finalists.
This year’s overall winner of BICSc NI Cleaning Operative of the Year was Sandra McFarlane representing The Belfast Trust in the Healthcare sector.
The Chairman of BICSc NI gave a keynote speech in which he thanked the MC for the ceremony Mr Michael Henderson MBE and all nominators for putting forward their nominees for the Cleaning Operative of the Year. He also highlighted the important role of all our cleaning operatives across the various sectors and the valued contribution that they make to our lives.
