Loyal employee retires at Rawlins
13 November 2015
Simon Legg, technical director at Denis Rawlins, retired as a full time employee at the end of October 2015, after 37 years of loyal service.
Simon has however agreed to stay on as a consultant to Denis Rawlins, so that the company will still be able to tap into his technical expertise.
Simon began working for Mr Denis Rawlins and his wife Lucy in December 1978, servicing and repairing cleaning machines. Since then, Simon’s technical expertise has grown exponentially, according to the company, and he has been instrumental in building its reputation for quality products and excellent technical support.
A spokesperson said: "Simon's knowledge of cleaning machines and of the industry will be missed by everyone at Rawlins, but we are sure that you, like us, will want to wish him a happy and long retirement."
Simon is looking forward to pursuing his interest in industrial archaeology, photography and spending more time in his motorhome.
