£150m industrial contract

Deborah Services Limited’s (DSL) industrial services division – a subsidiary of Siteserv and market leaders in multi-disciplinary industrial services – has been awarded a contract worth £150m by Babcock International Group, making DSL the marine sector’s largest industrial services provider in the UK.
The contract with Babcock International Group, the engineering support services company, will provide mainstream industrial services over five years, including access solutions, containment, blasting, priming, painting and large-scale industrial cleaning.
The new strategic partnership will see the employment of an 800-strong team across Babcock’s facilities at Appledore and Devonport, as well as Rosyth, Faslane and Coulport in Scotland.
Sean Corkery, chief executive officer of Siteserv, said; "This is a milestone contract for us and marks a transformation for our business in the UK, one of our key growth markets."
