Dedicated to distribution
24 June 2015
TC Facilities Management (TCFM) has won the cleaning contract at a prestigious new build Distribution Centre (DC).

Following a rigorous tender process, TCFM have successfully mobilised the contract to provide all area cleaning at this 980,000 square foot general merchandise facility, located in Daventry. The contract went live in April 2015. Business development manager Mark Parish said: "We are delighted to have been part of this process, having the opportunity to engage not just with the client’s procurement team but with their other delivery and management partners, as they planned, constructed and mobilised a facility capable of supporting their growing non-food merchandise operations." He added: "Our successful bespoke cleaning offer will not just ensure that the 900 plus staff who’ll be working here will do so in a clean and hygienic environment but also that it’ll be a great place to work." TCFM’s growth within this sector has led to the creation of a dedicated distribution centre team, led by divisional controller Steve Wengrow, supported in this instance by DC mobilisation manager Raphael Sagula. Steve Wengrow commented: "The key to our success from mobilisation and into operations always starts with our people. Having an experienced mobilisation manager on site from contract award has been crucial in developing relationships with stakeholders at every level, building trust and confidence as we deliver on our promises. My team is looking forward to helping our new client achieve their goals and to delivering a fantastic service." The TC Facilities Management team is also celebrating securing two other new business wins in the area, again within the logistics sector. Contracts for office and general area cleaning services at two other locations in Daventry and Rugby brings the company’s overall number of supply chain related cleaning and FM contracts to 12, with a nationwide presence stretching from Livingston in Scotland to Avonmouth in the South West.
