Nationwide strengthens IT capability
01 September 2014
Nationwide Hygiene Group has appointed Chris Simpson to the position of information systems manager from which he will oversee the Group’s future information management development plans.

CEO David Scholes said "This is a key position for our expanding company. Chris brings a wealth of practical IT management experience and skill to this important role. He has worked recently with the WRD Group and KPMG so he understands the needs of large companies and the demands of a customer service focused business. He has responsibility for managing all our head office computer hardware and software systems, including maintenance and support of LAN and WAN networks."
Chris Simpson will work with the local group companies to coordinate a range of projects focussed on the integration of internal information systems with those of external third parties and external service providers. This will include not only the individual group businesses and but also Nationwide’s European joint venture partner INPACS GmbH.
David Scholes said: "Nationwide is ideally placed to continue its ongoing development following recent cleaning and hygiene supply contract renewals plus new account gains."
