The Health & Safety Event makes NEC debut

13 February 2014

The new Health & Safety Event will take place from 11th to 13th March 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham.

The event will provide visitors with information on the latest legislation, health and safety case studies, the opportunity to meet the industry’s most respected organisations and also the chance to network with other professionals.

The event features a comprehensive three day conference programme, organised by the British Safety Council, that will deliver the latest news and legislative updates within health and safety.

There are also more practical seminars taking place across the event. On all three days visitors will have the chance to listen to the Access Industry Forum deliver a presentation entitled 'Working at height: Take it from the top'. With falls from height still the single biggest cause of deaths in the workplace, the Access Industry Forum will offer practical insights and information about the latest developments, standards and guidance influencing best practice in the work at height sector.

In addition to the educational content of the event there is a substantial exhibition where some of the biggest names in health and safety are situated. Core areas are well covered at the event with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) represented by well-known names such as DuPont, which will have on its stand the new Tyvek 800 J coverall that offers a revolution in Type 3 protection for industrial cleaning.

To register online visit www.healthandsafetyevents.co.uk or call the event hotline on: 0870 4866816.
