Jangro/Macmillan on the road to raise £100,000
03 July 2013
Walking hard to help Macmillan Cancer Support, Jangro teams tackle the West Pennine Moors…

Jangro, one of the UK’s largest networks of independent janitorial supply companies with 41 outlets, is on the road to raising £100,000 pledged to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The fundraising campaign started with a sponsored walk involving 27 head office staff and friends, each covering five miles around the Rivington and West Pennine Moors in Lancashire. This single activity raised £1252.
Jangro marketing manager Tammy Ladner says: "It was harder work than I thought but we had a lot of laughs on the way and everyone had a good time while raising funds for this very worthy cause.”
The youngest walker Rhys Green, aged five, completed the walk in the same time as the adults.
Kyle Macintyre, son of Jackie Macintyre, director of Jangro Perthshire member, Co-An UK, simultaneously ran the Edinburgh Half Marathon and donated the £503 he raised to the Jangro Macmillan fund.
