Biodegradable IPA wipes offer alternative to single-use plastics
05 May 2026
ADHESIVES EXPERT Intertronics has released its Endurawipe Biodegradable 70/30 IPA Wipes, a new industrial cleaning wipe made entirely from eucalyptus-derived viscose that breaks down within 12 weeks of use.

The Endurawipe removes light oils, residues, and fingerprints from surfaces in bonding, electronics, and engineering applications.
The Endurawipe provides laboratories, engineers, and manufacturers with a plant-based alternative to synthetic cleaning wipes,. Its standing pouch contains 200 wipes, uses 60-80 per cent less plastic than traditional tubs/buckets, and dispenses through a resealable cap to prevent wipes from drying out.
“The viscose in Endurawipes is regenerated from cellulose fibres, renewably sourcedfrom eucalyptus wood,” said Ben Swanson, joint managing director at Intertronics. “It breaks down in 12 weeks, whether in a soil, marine, landfill or water environment.”
