Pulire 2019 product of the year announced

Vileda received the award this week at the annual Pulire trade show in Verona, Italy.  Pulire is the largest professional cleaning industry trade show in Italy and is presented by Afidamp Servizi and ISSA.

Vileda was recognised for its Origo 2 trolley system, a modular customizable cleaning cart. The company describes the product as "our most hygienic, safe and modular trolley, designed to work in combination with digitalised cleaning processes – to further improve efficiency and reduce costs".

The Orgio 2 was chosen the winner by an international panel of judges from a total of 33 products.

The 'Product of the Year' is a new award – created to recognise the research of professional cleaning industry companies as well as the market response to the products.

The selection was based on quality, reliability, environmental compatibility, ergonomic efficiency and convenience because they represent the traits buyers are looking for.

A floor cleaning system by Unger and a chemical product by Wermer& Mertz were also finalists.
