MAKITA PRESSURE WASHER RANGE
18 April 2018
The Makita HW pressure washer range features machines that match all recognised market sectors from domestic to industrial.
These machines embody a host of features developed in operation to enhance performance, reliability and ease of service. A comprehensive range of complimentary accessories is available to extend the use of these reliable high-pressure washers.
The range capacity rises consistently from the 100 bar model through 110, 120, 130 and 140 bar models. The HW140 model with 500 litres per hour delivery has a brass pump head, 10 metres of armoured hose carried on a hand reel where the handle locks into position to keep the hose neat and tidy. The HW140 has a metal pressure gun, double detergent tank and Total Stop System, which cuts the motor if the input water pressure drops significantly.
The smallest and most compact model in the range is the HW101 which is a 100bar pressure/360litres per hour washer weighing just 7.3kg and is ideal for household applications.
The most recent introductions to the range are the HW1200 and HW1300 models.
The HW1200 has a regular operating pressure of 100 bar with a maximum pressure capacity of 120 bar, and a maximum delivery rate of 420 litres per hour, whilst the Makita HW1300 with electrical 2-pressure settings, has regular operating pressure settings of 110 bar on Hi and 80 bar on Lo. A similar 450 litre per hour flow rate is available from the HW1300 which has a maximum operating pressure of 130 bar with delivery controlled by a front mounted rotary switch. Both are powered by series motors for performance and reliability and are supplied with a 10m delivery hose and pressure adjustable spray lance. The HW1300 has an integrated hose reel.
These two new Makita pressure washers feature a self-priming pump operation which means that they can be used with water supplied from a tank, or water butt, simply by immersing a self-suction supply hose (supplied separately) into the water source. The traditional mains water hose supply connection is conveniently located at the front of the washer. These lightweight washers are quiet in operation, double insulated for safety, come complete with a convenient 5m power cord and can be used with water at up to 40°C.
