ISSA and Amsterdam RAI restructure shows
03 January 2018
Cleaning industry association ISSA and RAI Amsterdam, who previously co-organised the ISSA/INTERCLEAN group of cleaning trade exhibitions around the world, have restructured their agreement to "allow both organisations to thrive in the global marketplace".
It follows a public disagreement in November 2017, which saw RAI Amsterdam announce the end of the alliance. ISSA initially denied the reports.
As part of the restructure Amsterdam RAI events will be named Interclean while ISSA will revert to the previous branding of its shows before the Amsterdam RAI partnership - ISSA.
The ISSA and Interclean exhibition calendar will not change as a result of this agreement. The Interclean Amsterdam event from May 15-18 will remain part of the RAI portfolio, along with Interclean Istanbul. Exhibitions in the USA, Mexico, South Africa and Australia will remain ISSA events.
Both RAI and ISSA say they look forward to a productive future, supporting each other’s events.
