Global contract cleaning services on the rise
03 February 2017
The global market for contract cleaning services is expected grow at a compounded annual growth rate—or CAGR—of 4.8 per cent during the next five years, according to a new study from market research firm ReportsnReports.
The report credits the growth to an increase in demand for services in North and South America.
The global contract cleaning services market is expected to be driven by an increasing demand from key end-users such as commercial office buildings, transportation, healthcare institutions and educational institutions.
Growing dual-income families due to increasing women education and employment are contributing to the growth of the market in terms of residential end-users. Increasing use of automated cleaning techniques have also driven the market growth since these devices reduce cleaning time as well as improve the efficiency at work.
The study cites ABM, ISS and ServiceMaster as key vendors in the expansion of the contract cleaning services market.
