Heavy duty parts washer

The new SteriWasher from Suncombe combines technical innovation and robustness, as well as improved functionality, in a new validateable heavy duty parts washer.
The industrial purpose large washer uses new technologies to improve on current industrial parts washers used in biotechnological, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, healthcare and other critical sectors. The Suncombe SteriWasher is also said to be more environmentally friendly, using less energy and water in both research and production usage. A whole range of equipment can be effectively cleaned, ranging from large containers, mixers and drums down to very small critical parts.
Instead of a fold down door, access to the SteriWasher is by means of a hinged door. This provides a more durable washing chamber and machine. The wash system utilises a combination of specifically engineered variable pressures to cope with the demands of different cleaning needs. A high energy impingement washing can be combined with a low energy flush which can be selected by the use of an easy to use recipe selection system.
The SteriWasher is fitted with an inflatable seal to provide a leak free air tight environment for both washing and product containment. The SteriWasher can use either a standard rack or tailor made racks with locations for separate components to provide validated cleaning solutions. The racks are removable and can be placed on trolleys for load and unload operations.
Suncombe’s technical director Steve Overton said: "Our clients have shown a great deal of interest in a more robust washer, with a simple hinged door, to ensure continued usability, throughout the units’ long lifetime."
