The Robert Scott Group has announced the appointment of Gill Ireson as group sales manager with overall responsibility for the Robert Scott and Contico product portfolios.

Ireson has been involved with sales and customer services within the UK janitorial industry for the past 17 years. In 2000 at Scott's, she co-established a tele-sales department which has, over 13 years, been responsible for providing 'a level of customer service recognised throughout the industry.' In 2012 Robert Scott acquired Contico Manufacturing. Ireson will be dividing her time between Scott's Greenfield headquarters and Contico's head office in Redruth, Cornwall where she will introduce the same internal sales systems and working ethos that have proved so successful.
'I am passionate about customer service,' says Ireson. 'My aim will be to install the importance of being able to communicate with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues. Excellent service will keep customers coming back as well as singing our praises!'
