Let me introduce myself...
09 July 2013
After a happy year spent covering maternity leave on our sister title Health & Safety Matters, I'm excited to have taken up the editor role at Cleaning Matters.
As someone with a background in workwear and personal protective equipment, I understand the importance of cleaning and laundering in helping to not only maintain the look and feel of a work garment but ensure it stays fit for purpose in even the most hazardous environments.
At The Cleaning Show in March at the Birmingham NEC I gained a fascinating insight into the far-reaching contributions that the cleaning industry makes on a daily basis. I was also shown a range of new innovations by some very friendly people who are clearly passionate about what they do.
Over the coming months I'm looking forward to meeting many more cleaning professionals and to finding out what makes the industry tick.
My first magazine issue for Cleaning Matters will contain a mix of popular sections – floor care, green cleaning and hospital hygiene – combined with areas that the magazine has branched out to cover more recently – FM and recycling and waste management.
If you have anything specific that you would like us to cover, any feedback on how we can improve the magazine or website, or just want to say 'hi!' I would love to hear from you. Please email me at [email protected]
