Firing up waste reduction

Disposables UK has joined forces with South Yorkshire Fire Service to provide products for its washroom facilities in all 24 stations across the region.

The Bay West range was selected for quality, waste reduction, high capacity and cost savings. With the Bay West range in its head office washroom alone, the fire service will save £2,550 per year, says the company.

Sustainability was also essential and Bay West products have the Ecolabel accreditation.

Dispensers were supplied in 'fire engine red'. Revolution is a highcapacity three-roll toilet tissue dispenser. A carousel mechanism delivers continuous supply and reduces waste. Optiserv hands-free is a controlled usage dispenser, which delivers pre-measured paper towels, reducing over-use.
