New premises opened by MP

14 December 2016

A cleaning product specialist has completed a move to new 20 acre premises to allow its patented scientific breakthrough products to be fully manufactured in the north east.

Formerly based in central Newcastle, 2Pure Products will now run all of its operations from its head office in Prudhoe, Northumberland, in a move that will create 10 new jobs. The company produces OdorBac Tec, an odour eliminator and multi-purpose cleaner, for the commercial cleaning market.

Commercial director James Law said: “Since the business was established we have had a vision to manufacture, bottle and distribute direct from the North East as this is where the product was originally born. We knew that it would take time to achieve this, however our products have been so well received that we have taken the decision to make the move now.

“We feel this is a very positive step for the company and the region as it will not only create and secure jobs, but will also allow us to begin exporting our products internationally in the near future.”

The products produced by 2Pure change the molecular structure of an odour to eliminate the smell, rather than mask it with a scent. In addition to being environmentally friendly, chemical-free and a non-irritant, the products also have impressive stain removing capabilities and are able to remove even the toughest stains and marks.

Hexham MP Guy Opperman recently visited the new company premises to officially launch 2Pure in his constituency and to understand the manufacturing process and company’s vision for worldwide expansion.

He said: “I was extremely impressed with the company’s vision for growth and it was fantastic to receive an insight into 2Pure Products’ operations.”
