Amazing Amsterdam
24 May 2016
The ISSA/INTERCLEAN 2016 was nothing short of amazing for Steam-e Limited. The all new ‘Steam-e’ is a battery powered chewing gum removal machine. It was launched to the world and the visitors at the show seemed genuinely impressed by this new and innovative technology.
Steam-e also impressed the organisers as they were selected to be on the ‘ISSA Innovation trail’, which directs visitors to new and innovative technology being showcased to the cleaning industry.
New distributors and customers were treated to live chewing gum removal demonstrations on the booth.
Martin Whitbread, sales director at Steam-e, said: “Seeing is believing and our customers want to see what the technology can do. We shipped in concrete slabs covered in gum deposits, so our visitors could see for themselves gum being destroyed in seconds.”
The steam-e machines use a clever and eco-friendly solution based on sugar beet to be used with the battery powered steam machine. The result is quite impressive, with chewing gum deposits destroyed in a few seconds each. This is especially impressive as this steam machine is powered by single battery and weighs less that 10kgs!
The show was a commercial success for Steam-e too as they added a number of new distributors.
Martin Whitbread explained: “We had already agreed distribution partners in the UK, North America, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Australia and New Zealand.
"Because the Steam-e machine offers effortless gum removal and amazing value for money we have now secured distributors in Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Mexico and Italy. In fact, we even secured a distributor in the Caribbean, so now we just have to decide who in our team will deliver their first order!”
Steam-e clearly had a successful event and they are only just getting started with their clever new technology. It seems that chewing gum removal can be tackled quickly and economically, something the cleaning industry really needs.
Martin invites anyone with a chewing gum problem to contact him directly on sales@steam-e.com so he can arrange for a demonstration local to them and help them solve their sticky problem.
