With its Björk hand dryer and Björk soap dispenser, DAN DRYER has proved its design excellence in the Red Dot Award – the internationally respected competition for product design, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
The international experts discussed and assessed almost 5,000 entries from 56 countries. But only the designs that won over the jury with their quality and innovative power were given an award. The Björk hand dryer and soap dispenser from DAN DRYER succeeded in convincing the jury members, deservedly winning the sought-after Red Dot seal of quality.
Björk has been developed by DAN DRYER in close consultation with VE2, a well-established design company that has won several prestigious awards for its work. The result is a timeless, flexible fast dryer and soap dispenser with a high degree of individual freedom of design. Björk’s interchangeable top plate facilitates styling and customising to any colour scheme or visual identity, blending in with any interior design. The cylindrical shape with unbroken lines makes Björk seem slender and almost weightless.
The competition will culminate in the Red Dot Gala award ceremony in Essen on 29 June 2015.
