Women on top

Diversey's hotel consultant, Liz Smith-Mills, has been recognised by Women 1st as one of the 100 most influential women in the UK hospitality industry.

Other women on the list include business leaders, restaurateurs, journalists and celebrity chefs. Liz was one of just 18 on the list whose primary role is within the hotels sector.

Liz has spent over 35 years in the hospitality sector and joined Diversey in 1994 as the company's housekeeping and hotel specialist. She works alongside senior managers and executives from the company's hotel customers to show them how to improve the quality and performance of their housekeeping operations and services.

Liz was nominated for the award by several people including the Chair of the regional branch of the Institute of Hospitality, regional chair of the UK Housekeepers association and chief executive of the Midlands association of Hotel Catering Restaurants and Entertainment.
