ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul postponed until 2017
04 August 2016
The ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul exhibition, originally scheduled for 7-9 September 2016, has been moved to 18-20 October 2017.
After careful deliberation, joint organisers RAI Amsterdam, ISSA and UBM EMEA have made the decision to postpone the event, citing the rising concerns from exhibitors and visitors regarding travel in and out of the country as the chief motive.
“We are deeply committed to the Eurasian market and to working with the Turkish cleaning industry,” Bas Dalm, senior vice president international exhibitions & sales at RAI Amsterdam, said. “However, our exhibitors and attendees have expressed concern regarding their participation at this event, and we believe it is prudent to respect their decisions and find a more opportune time to bring the industry together.”
John Barrett, ISSA executive director, added: “Eurasia, and specifically Istanbul, remain strong regions of activity for the professional cleaning and hygiene industry, and we plan to continue to support the region, including our local partners at TESHIAD. Therefore, we are pleased to have found alternative dates for the event next year in Istanbul.”
Rob den Hertog, manager ISSA/INTERCLEAN, concluded: “We look forward to hosting a truly international event in 2017 along the calibre that people have come to expect from the ISSA/INTERCLEAN brand.”
Those industry professionals looking to network and find business partners this calendar year can attend the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2016 event, which is taking place on 25-28 October in Chicago, USA.
