A planet-first portfolio

The Satino by WEPA portfolio includes a range of toilet tissue, hand towels, kitchen, and medical roll, alongside dispensers and centrefeeds. Powered by research conducted as part of WEPA Group’s Future Fibres Strategy, designed to amplify its sustainability and environmentally focused product portfolio, it has created a series of key innovations.

From toilet tissue made from 100% recycled paper (Comfort) or 100% recycled corrugated cardboard (PureSoft), to 100% recyclable cardboard dispensers made of solid fibre board, which are ideal for events and short-term use, Satino by WEPA is an industry leader when it comes to hygiene products that help protect the planet’s natural resources.

Its latest innovation is its PureSoft range of toilet tissue, kitchen rolls and hand towels. Made from 100% recycled corrugated cardboard and free from bleaching, its newfound production methods have produced an especially soft hygiene paper that keeps valuable materials within resource streams and boasts a carbon footprint that is 70% smaller than that of virgin fibre production.

By 2030, the company strives to increase the share of recycled fibres and alternative fresh fibres in the raw material mix to at least 60%, therefore reducing the ecological footprint of the fibres used by at least 25%.
