Kee Safety has a safe stable solution for rope access workers cleaning at height

Fall protection specialist Kee Safety has introduced Accessanka, a self contained portable anchor device for workers requiring rope access to the side of a building for window cleaning and other building maintenance operations.

Part of the company's Kee Anchor range,Accessanka does not penetrate the roof, is suitable for most flat roof surfaces and requires no attachment to structural members.

It allows the operator to work safety in accordance with BS 7985, the 'Code of Practice for Use of Rope Access Methods for Industrial Purposes'.

When used in conjunction with a portable, deadweight anchor system, together they provide an internally force balanced solution, which does not require anchoring to the roof or other structure.

Accessanka is extremely stable and will not migrate across the roof surface, either in normal use, or if a rescuer needs to use the equipment after a fall has taken place.

Accessanka is intended for single person use, however in case of rescue it has been tested for two persons plus equipment up to a working load limit of 200kg.

The system has been designed for easy transportation and installation, being of modular construction, with no part over 25kg or 2m.

Kee Safety is the UK division of Kee Safety International. The Kee Safety International business is divided into four sectors; Safety Components, Safety Systems, Safe Access Solutions and Safe Fixings.
