Award winning platform
August 1st 2008

The designer behind Youngman's modular work platform has won a Grant for Research and Development award from the London Development Agency."I decided there had to be a better way than the usual milk crates, sawn scafolding planks on bricks and many other makeshift hop ups,"says Laurie Cleeland.

His modular Blox work platform consists of a basic starter pack which has four interlocking pieces: a step unit, a bridge section and two Blox main bridge suports.Available for under £200 including VAT, it provides a 500mm platform height with a safe working load of up to 150kgs, is Health & Safety accredited and conforms to both BS and CE standards.
