Better waste management
December 1st 2006

After business growth pushed up waste volumes, food sauce supplier RHM Culinary brands needed a bigger metal drum crusher.A Pakawaste customer of many years, it contacted the waste handling specialist for a free audit.

Pakawaste recommended a volume reducing Drumkrush as it makes vehicles easier to load, is safer to transport and is more cost effective.

Designed to reduce volumes of all types of steel and aluminium drums up to 45 gallon capacity, the robust machine's sides are enclosed to meet health and safety standards. The compaction head uses strategically placed spikes to puncture the drums, so all excess air is expelled, reducing volume by 7:1 – enabling significant scrap transport savings.
