Better waste management
August 1st 2006

Portsmouth's St James Hospital has replaced its old compactor with a Portakrush 1000 20 yard cubic compactor from Pakawaste.

The staff logged onto www.pakawaste.co.uk to request a free site survey and quotation. The hospital then agreed with Pakawaste that the Portakrush 1000 a best selling portable compactor capable of reducing waste volumes by up to 5:1 was the best tool for the job.

Staff at the hospital had a smooth transition to operating Pakawaste's larger compactor as the P1000 is a similar design and operating system to the one previously used on site.
