Washing away profits? August 1st 2005 Winterhalter says its technology is significantly reducing lifetime costs of glasswashers and dishwashers by reducing water, energy and detergent use. It claims WHITec (Winterhalter Indirect Heating Technology) flat panel elements deliver better heating and lower energy consumption by removing the ‘kettle style’ heating element from the equation. Limescale and dirt accumulation – the most common cause of efficiency loss in conventional heating elements – are minimised, Consequentially, Winterhalter has reduced the size of its wash tanks: each wash cycle now uses a third less water. The knock on effect is a reduction in detergent, softener and rinse aid.
Three stage filtration also maximises washwater life. These advances, say Winterhalter, mean the product’s lifecycle is increased while maintenance is reduced. More articles from Winterhalter UK: |
