Street ranges

Battery powered vehicles for street cleansing and recycling/waste collection will be shown by Bradshaw Electric Vehicles at CIWM 2005 (14 to 16 June).

These will include two pedestrian controlled vehicles: the PC40 is a 1500kg capacity waste and litter collection, four-wheeled, tiller steering vehicle; the PC30 is a compact 1000kg capacity vehicle that can be used on pavements and within confined areas on housing estates.

Also on show, the Bradshaw T6 7t capacity, battery-powered tow tractor is suitable for wheelie-bin collection in retail centres.The fourwheeled vehicle can tow wheeliebin trains with power in reserve for ramps and inclines.

The Bradshaw stand will also have details of two larger bodied vehicle ranges:The FB combined burden carrier/tow tractor vehicle that is available with two-seat, allweather cab; and the Trucktravel street cleansing vehicle that has a maximum speed of 40mph and an operating range on a single battery charge of 40 miles.
