Steaming ahead February 1st 2005 OspreyDeepclean has landed one of its largest ever orders for the healthcare market. A total of 40 Steam N Vac machines were installed at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon where cleaning services are contracted out to Carillion Healthcare.
With MRSA and cleaning standards so closely linked, the use of dry steam cleaning is seen as a very positive step in supporting the fight against infection.
Virtually as easy to use as an ordinary vacuum cleaner, the machines filter vacuumed air through a special water tank, ensuring that exhausted air is bacteria and dust free. The water filtration tank is easily taken out and the dirty water disposed of into drains.
As steam is applied under low level pressure, it effectively penetrates cracks, crevices and surface scratches. More articles from Osprey Deepclean Ltd: |
