December 1st 2004 Available from Metsä Tissue, Katrin EasyFlush toilet tissue is said to dissolve more than twice as quickly as conventional tissue.
Originally developed in conjunction with some of the world’s leading airlines, Katrin EasyFlush products are designed for use in vacuum toilets on trains and boats and planes.They are also suitable for use in older buildings with blockage-sensitive sewage pipes, and can be used in some of the latest low water consumption toilet systems.
The tissue products begin dissolving on contact with water and break down into small particles, all properties designed to ease flushing and reduce blockages.
The company says less water is needed to dissolve the tissue, which makes them suitable for use with vacuum systems that typically use between 0.2 and 1L of water per flush compared to an average toilet that uses 4L of water per flush.
