Magnet attachment sticks to task October 1st 2007 Designed to clear surfaces of metal debris on factory floors and loading areas, Invicta
says its latest magnet attachment is simple but successful in cost-effective clean-up
Invicta Forks & Attachments has launched a new device for clearing
factory floors and loading areas. The fork-mounted magnet
attachment clears surfaces of metal debris that could otherwise
present a hazard to vehicles and operators alike.
The new magnet attachment clears swarf, offcuts, nails and other
waste from factory floors, yards and loading areas. It is fork-mounted,
suspended by chains, and moves along just above the floor surface,
clearing a large area of damaging material in a fraction of the time
taken to tackle the job manually. The magnet can be used
on its own or in conjunction with Invicta's Basil sweeper
attachment, which has a left- and right-hand sweep option
for clearing factory floors, yards, roads and pathways.
"The fork-mounted magnet is a simple device, but its
simplicity masks its sheer efficiency," says Peter Sharpe,
Invicta's director.
"It's an extremely powerful and rugged attachment. It
can clear a large amount of floor debris in a short time,
removing items that would otherwise very quickly become
a danger to health and safety."
Protecting vehicle tyres from punctures, as well as
operators from injury, Invicta says the fork-mounted
magnet is a useful addition to any business' health and
safety armoury. The attachment can be supplied in a
range of widths to suit different host vehicles and
applications and is
available ex-stock. More articles from Invicta Forks & Attachments: |
