Gets gum off the streets

The new street cleansing service introduced by Nomix Enviro combines chewing gum removal with surface cleaning.

Gum removal is achieved via the Nomix Elite, a compact hot water pressure washer that combines environmentally friendly chewing gum removal chemicals with steam.

It works by using steam to lift chewing gum off the ground, the Nomix chewing gum remover rapidly breaks down the chemical structure of the gum and removes up to 20 pieces per minute.

Following gum removal, the surface is restored to new via industrial strength pressure washers fitted with powerful rotary cleaners.The system is environmentally friendly, using only water sprayed at high pressure onto the surface in a circular motion to blast away dirt and grime.

Dirty water is then sucked away and pumped down the drains or, in the case of spillage, collected into containers for safe disposal.
