With Christmas approaching, Hygiene Express is offering free kitchen surveys to spot actual or potential hygiene problems.

As well as checking the kitchen, the survey includes a report on a premises’dish and glass washers, so that caterers can be confident of their ability to handle the Christmas rush.

Hygiene Express is operated by Winterhalter, a company that offers a range of cleaning chemicals for commercial caterers.Technicians are trained to provide assistance, advice and training on all areas of kitchen hygiene.

The pre-Christmas MOT is free, though the company hopes caterers will opt to buy its chemicals.
