Pioneering cleaning system manufacturer, Rosemor International, has a number of products on stand 01.233, one of which is the Rotomac 300 escalator cleaning machine that simultaneously scrubs and dries escalator steps.

The Rotomac 300 is a compact scrubber drier designed for the wet scrubbing of escalator treads and risers with the simultaneous removal of the water. It leaves the escalator clean and dry, and ready for immediate use - cleaning the horizontal and vertical surfaces of the stationary escalator in one operation. Ease of use combines with high performance to make it suitable for one-pass cleaning of escalators in airports, railways stations, department stores, shopping centres, hospitals, conference and exhibition centres.

According to the company, the Rotomac 300 reduces the cleaning and maintenance costs of escalator care considerably compared to other methods.

Now it is possible to clean an escalator in a few hours. It efficiently and thoroughly removes all the dirt and debris normally found on aluminium of die-cast escalators, using the Rotomac's accessories, during a pre-clean stage, even dirt jammed between the treads can be removed.

The performance and handling ease of the Rotomac 300 comes from an ergonomic design that incorporates: No heavy lifting; an automatic safety brake; adjustment of step height between 18.5-23cm for different escalator types; a waterproof control panel with easy-to-follow indicators for safe, logical and easy operation; two electronically controlled cleaning programs for basic or thorough maintenance; brushes that clean right to the edge; a waste-water tank cut-off to prevent spilling; fully removable tanks that are easy to fill and clean.
