Maintaining immaculately clean coaches is a high priority to the company.

Junction 1 Truck and Coach Wash opened up in the area, explains yard supervisor, Ray Allport, “With such a professional operation within easy reach, it made sense for us to redeploy our cleaning staff and take advantage of its high quality cleaning service.” As well as operating two mechanised gantry wash systems, all vehicles are cleaned by hand … steps, wheel arches, around the mirrors, roof and back… before actually passing through the gantry wash. And it’s the Vikan Transport System range of brushes which help Junction 1 achieve the desired results. Vikan’s ergonomically designed brushes are soft, pliable and, most important, don’t scratch the paintwork. Two or three different sized waterfed brushes with up to 18 foot telescopic poles provide easy cleaning access to the coach top, back and sides.
